Shnier's Summit Wins Best Medium Sized Meeting in Canada
Toronto, May 11, 2010 - Shnier is honoured to be the recipient of the first annual award from Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine naming the Shnier Summit as Best Medium Sized Meeting in Canada for 2009 for its event held in old Quebec City.
The Best Meeting in Canada is unique as it recognizes and rewards organizations that invest in meetings as an integral part of doing business. Each Best Meeting in Canada winner had clearly defined goals and objectives for their meeting and was able to measure and calculate a positive return-on-investment for their event.
This first annual award program was developed by Meetings & Incentive Travel and InterContinental Hotels Group. Conferences and events were nominated last fall by attendees and vetted through a national jury of meeting industry experts. The 19 finalists were chosen and asked to submit a business case for their event. The jury then chose the three winners from the finalist submissions.
