Shnier Co. Supports Habitat for Humanity Canada

Toronto, June 1, 2005 – Shnier Co. is pleased to support Habitat for Humanity Canada with a sizable donation of Armstrong DLW flooring to the Brampton Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Brampton, Ontario.

Ed duDomaine, President, presented over 13,000 square feet of Armstrong DLW flooring to Daryl Morrison of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Brampton, Ontario. “At Shnier, we take great pride in our strong connection with the local community and helping others.” said Ed duDomaine “It is our great honour to support such a worthy cause, one that has helped so many less fortunate and deserving Canadians”.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are building supply stores that accept and resell quality new and used building materials. They generate funds to support Habitat's building programs, while reducing the amount of used materials that are headed for overflowing landfills!

Shnier is pleased to support Habitat for Humanity's efforts in providing simple, decent, and affordable houses and providing interest-free mortgages to families who would otherwise not be able to purchase their own home. The Habitat program is about home ownership and providing a long-term solution designed to break the poverty cycle.
