GESCO CEO Announcement

August 20th, 2020 - The GESCO Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the appointment of Shawn Trinier to the position of CEO, GESCO effective September 8th, 2020.

Shawn's professional career spans some 27 years, having held numerous senior management level positions, most recently as President of Serta Simmons Canada. Other offices include GM of Grohe Canada, President & CEO of Aquaterra Corp, VP of Sanimax, VP of OfficeMax and lastly as an Operating Director of the PEPSI Bottling Group.

His professional experiences are wide ranging, inclusive of strategic planning, supply chain management, acquisition and divestiture, revenue growth initiations, team building, product line and customer development, amongst others, all while contributing to ever enhanced profits and returns on investment.

As CEO, Shawn will report directly to the GESCO Board, while working very closely with the GESCO Senior Executive Office (President & CFO), and the Senior Management Team (SMT).

The Board wishes to recognize Paul Green, President & Chief Revenue Officer, and Connie Curtis, Chief Financial Officer for their combined leadership during the current COVID crisis. Also, the Board extends both its thanks and appreciation to Ed duDomaine for his service as active Executive Chairman throughout this interim period. He will moving forward remain as an active member of the Board.

The Board, along with the Senior Executive, the Senior Management Team and the entire associate body, warmly welcome Shawn to the GESCO Family.
